What makes it different?

The best prices on the market

MSC consistently offers the lowest fares among the major cruise lines. An MSC cruise can cost 30-50% less than Disney or Royal Caribbean for the same route and dates.

MSC Yacht Club

The 'ship within a ship' concept with butler service, all-inclusive perks (premium drinks, gourmet dining), VIP embarkation and exclusive areas. Luxury comparable to Disney Concierge at a fraction of the price.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve

Private island in the Bahamas designed as a marine reserve. White-sand beaches, reef snorkeling and a one-of-a-kind focus on sustainability.

Carousel Productions at Sea

Exclusive acrobatics, dance and live-music shows in the Carousel Lounge (Meraviglia-class ships). They replaced the former Cirque du Soleil shows. A unique experience at sea (extra charge).

Welcomes babies from 0 months

Most cruise lines require babies to be 6+ months old. MSC accepts infants under 2 on cruises shorter than 11 nights.

Mich's Stateroom Guide

The MSC Yacht Club is the best-kept secret in cruising. It's a 'ship within a ship' with a butler, exclusive restaurant, private lounge and solarium. All-inclusive (drinks, internet and premium dining). Compared to Disney or Royal suites, it's FAR cheaper.

Inside

$400-1,200 (3-4 nights)

Compact, European-style. The most affordable cabins on the market.

Mich's Tip: If budget is the priority, an MSC inside cabin is unbeatable. You'll only use it to sleep anyway.

Oceanview / Balcony

$600-2,500 (3-4 nights)

Standard balcony with a good view. Well-designed cabins.

Mich's Tip: An MSC balcony is solid value for money. Ask for a higher deck for a better view.

MSC Yacht Club (Suite)

approx. $2,500-8,000 (3-4 nights), varies by ship and date

A ship within the ship. Suite with 24/7 butler, exclusive restaurant, lounge with all-day snacks and drinks, private solarium, VIP embarkation and disembarkation.

Mich's Tip: The Yacht Club is Mich's #1 recommendation on MSC. For the price of a Disney balcony, you get an all-inclusive suite (premium drinks, gourmet dining, internet). It's the best deal in cruising.

Kids Clubs

Baby Club (ages 0-3)

Supervised program for babies. One of the few that welcomes newborns.

Mich's Tip: MSC is one of the few lines that takes babies from 0 months. Ideal if you're cruising with an infant.

Mini Club (ages 3-6)

Supervised activities featuring LEGO characters.

Mich's Tip: The LEGO partnership keeps little ones seriously entertained.

Juniors Club (ages 7-11) & Young Club (12-14)

Age-grouped activities: technology, sports, creativity.

Mich's Tip: Good programs but less themed than Disney's. More of a European style.

Teens Club (ages 15-17)

Exclusive lounge with video games, music and social activities.

Mich's Tip: Teens get plenty of independence on MSC.
