Disneyland Paris

Paris, France

Disney magic with European charm

Disneyland Paris blends Disney magic with the charm of Europe. With 2 parks — Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World (formerly Walt Disney Studios Park) — plus Disney Village, and Paris right next door, it's the perfect trip to combine theme parks with culture. The Sleeping Beauty Castle is one of a kind, and attractions like Ratatouille and Avengers Campus are exclusive to Paris.

Travel logistics

Everything you need to know to travel from Mexico.

Flights

Nonstop flights to Paris (CDG) are available from most major U.S. hubs with Air France, Delta, United and American. From smaller cities, expect one connection.

Visa

No visa required for U.S. citizens (tourism up to 90 days in the Schengen area). Your passport should be valid for at least 3 months beyond your departure. It's smart to carry proof of your hotel, travel insurance and return flight in case immigration asks. The EU's ETIAS electronic authorization is coming soon.

Language

French and English. Everything at Disney is bilingual (FR/EN). In Paris, English is widely spoken in tourist areas. Translation apps are handy for everything else.

Currency

Euro (EUR), close in value to the U.S. dollar. Cards are accepted everywhere. We recommend a card with no foreign transaction fees.

Time zone

CET (UTC+1) — several hours ahead of the U.S. Jet lag lasts 2-3 days; we recommend arriving a day before your first Disney day.

Where to stay at Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris sits just outside the city (about 35 km from central Paris), so staying at a resort hotel really pays off: you're steps from the parks, you get Extra Magic Time, and you can dedicate a couple of nights without losing time to transfers. There are options from budget-friendly to luxury.

Disneyland Hotel

Luxury

Reopened as a luxury hotel with Disney royalty theming, right at the entrance to Disneyland Park.

Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel

Premium

Marvel theming with New York style, a short walk from the park.

Newport Bay / Sequoia Lodge

Moderate

Lakeside hotels — comfortable and well located for families.

Hotel Cheyenne / Santa Fe

Value

The most affordable resort hotels, still with all the perks of staying on property.

We'll build your full package (resort hotel + tickets) and, if you'd like, add a couple of nights in central Paris. Get a quote and we'll coordinate it all.

Best time to visit

September and May offer the best balance: pleasant weather, lighter crowds and reasonable prices. Christmas at Disney Paris is magical but very crowded.

Recommended

Low season

January, February, September, November

Low prices, short lines. Some rides may be down for maintenance in January. September is ideal, with great weather.

Shoulder season

March, May, June, October

A great balance. May-June have the best weather. October's Halloween Festival is something special.

High season

April, July-August, December

Easter, European summer and Christmas. Book your hotel well in advance.
