Mich's Stateroom Guide
Disney's staterooms are larger than the competition's. The split bathroom (sink + shower separate from the toilet) is a game-changer for families.
Inside
$2,500-4,000 (3-4 nights)No window, but spacious. Wish and Treasure feature a virtual 'magical porthole'.
Mich's Tip: The virtual porthole shows Disney characters. Kids love it.
Oceanview
$3,000-5,000 (3-4 nights)Classic round porthole window. A good price-to-view balance.
Mich's Tip: If you're traveling with kids, the Inside with the virtual porthole may be the smarter buy.
Verandah (Balcony)
$4,000-7,000 (3-4 nights)Private balcony. The best value for adults.
Mich's Tip: Categories 5A-5C have the newer white-railing verandahs on the Wish. Ask for aft for the best views.
Concierge Suite
$8,000-20,000+ (3-4 nights)Suite with butler-style service, private lounge and VIP boarding.
Mich's Tip: If the budget allows, the Concierge experience is unmatched. Private lounge with snacks all day long.
Kids Clubs
Oceaneer Club (ages 3-12)
The best kids club of any cruise line. Themed areas for Marvel, Star Wars, Frozen and Toy Story, supervised by trained Disney staff. Kids do NOT want to leave.
Mich's Tip: Register the kids on day one. They can come and go freely with their wristband.
It's a Small World Nursery (6 months-3 years)
Nursery for babies and toddlers with certified staff.
Mich's Tip: Book as soon as you board — it fills up. Extra cost: ~$9/hr per child (additional sibling ~$8/hr); on the Wish class (Wish/Treasure/Destiny) it's $10/hr with no sibling discount. 1-hour minimum.
Edge (ages 11-14)
Tween club with video games, activities and hangout space.
Mich's Tip: Tweens love it because it gives them independence.
Vibe (ages 14-17)
Teen club with a lounge, music and activities.
Mich's Tip: Teens can come and go freely. DJ nights and exclusive activities.
